When it comes to rip cuts, the ExacTrack is the star of the show since it allows you to position the saw right up against the cutting board. Because you can see exactly what you're cutting, you don't have to guess where you're going to make your cuts. With less possibility of making a mistake, you can achieve more precision. This saw is also easier to control due to its lighter weight of only 4.5 pounds. In addition, there is no cord to become tangled in while using the device.
You can also turn off ExacTrack and use this as a conventional circular saw by flipping the switch on the side. Changing modes is accomplished using a switch in the back. In order to get you started, this saw includes one 24T carbide-tipped wood-cutting blade. It is rotated at 3600 rpm by a high-efficiency motor. Cutting depth is 2-5/32" at 90° and 1-17/32" at 45° when the angle is 90°. Because of its 0-50-degree capability, this saw can also do bevel cuts with relative ease. It is possible to connect your preferred shop vac to the vacuum adapter in order to maintain your project and work area clean. A charger is included as well, so that you can keep your PowerShare battery charged and ready to use.
